Site Reliability Engineer SupervisorVGW is an interactive entertainment company, harnessing technology and creativity to deliver world-class, free-to-play games. We have an exciting opportunity to join our Engineering team in Perth and are currently looking for an Engineering Supervisor to join the team. You'll focus on ensuring the reliability of our systems as we bring new games to life. This is an exciting opportunity to work on developing a new platform system, building reliability from the start.What you should know about our Engineering team:We make room to do things the right way.You own your projects: you build it, you ship it, you run it.We were born in the cloud: practices and principles like CI/CD, IaC, O11y and CyberSec are part of what we do.In terms of our tech stack, we're container-based, running on EKS supported by Amazon Aurora, CloudFront and S3 for our front-ends.Our infrastructure is provisioned with Terraform and we use Github Actions for our CI/CD.When it comes to Learning and Development:Learning is part of our fabric.We have a world class Engineering Learning and Development program and we are passionate about career development.Thought pioneers regularly give tailored talks and workshops for our team.We are proactive in the community attending many local and international conferences.We have both a technical and management track for career progression and promotions.We have a library of books and videos with good content and encourage staying on top of new practices.What you will bring to the role:Experience working as a DevOps Engineer, Systems Engineer, SRE or a related field and ready to take the next step.Experience working with Kotlin.Strong fundamental knowledge of Google SRE.Experience in working with Infrastructure as Code tools.Experience in/ knowledge of CI/CD tools and techniques.Experience in cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP).Experience in OpenTelemetry is desired.Experience in implementing, coaching and sharing a strong understanding of Google SRE.Experience in implementing, coaching and sharing a strong understanding of Infrastructure As Code, as well as integration and deployment technologies: CI & CD.About VGWVGW is an interactive entertainment company, harnessing technology and creativity to deliver world-class, free-to-play games.
