Established in 2013, Little Stars Early Learning Centre is a leading provider of early childhood education, rapidly expanding across Victoria.
Our commitment to excellence and nurturing environments has fuelled our growth, and we are now seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to elevate our success to new heights.
About the Role: We are in search of an experienced Operations Manager who excels in leading multi-site operations.
This role is perfect for a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing and developing teams, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving business growth.
You will play a crucial role in overseeing our portfolio of centers in the North-West (Shepperton, Sunbury, Melton and Mill Park) ensuring they meet their KPIs, and embodying the values of Little Stars.
Key Responsibilities: Field Leadership: Conduct weekly Centre visits to Melton, Sunbury, Mill Park & Shepperton to perform administrative tasks, and lead effective meetings with Centre Directors and Kinder Teachers.Maximise Profitability: Drive high occupancy rates and efficient labour management to boost profitability.Lead and Inspire: Motivate and mentor Centre Directors and their teams, fostering a positive and high-performing work environment.Cultivate Culture: Promote a culture of recognition, teamwork, achievement, and diversity.Human Resources Management: Oversee HR functions including hiring, training, and managing team turnover.Complaint Resolution: Address and resolve escalated complaints from families swiftly and effectively.Financial Oversight: Ensure accurate and up-to-date financial accounts, manage debts, and liaise with contractors, finance, payroll, and marketing teams.Marketing Coordination: Oversee marketing activities in collaboration with Centre directors and our marketing agency.Regulatory Compliance: Coordinate with government entities in line with prior approval from your supervisor.Ideal Candidate: Multi-Site Management Experience: Proven success in managing multiple locations with a strong track record of achieving results.
Minimum 2 years of experience.Financial Acumen: Ability to read and interpret P&L reports and demonstrate sound financial decision-making.Proactive and Independent: A can-do attitude with a willingness to challenge the status quo, use initiative, and work independently with urgency.Organised Leader: Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on developing and achieving results through people.If you are a driven leader with a passion for early childhood education and a knack for operational excellence, we want to hear from you.
