The position provides the opportunity to influence and shape large-scale, multi-million-dollar projects that will leave a lasting impact on the industry.You will collaborate with some of the best specialists in the field, renowned for the timely delivery of profitable, high-profile, complex projects.

The National Contracting Manager will play a pivotal role in driving consistent and continued project success and profitability.Key Responsibilities:Project Leadership & Management: Lead and support Project Managers and teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment with company goalsImplement company policies, systems, and procedures effectively across projectsDevelop strong client relationships and maintain project status awareness for early problem-solvingFinancial Performance & Sustainability:Collaborate with the CEO and State General Managers to develop business plans for sustainable growthMonitor and report on financial targets, ensuring compliance with agreed budgets and project requirementsReview and approve project budgets and provide regular performance updatesCapability Building:Develop training and development plans to build skills and knowledge within the DivisionPromote collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams and divisionsLeadership & Development:Ensure the alignment of all activities with the company's strategy and valuesProvide mentoring and performance feedback to Project Managers and staffFoster a positive, safe, and solution-oriented workplace cultureClient Relationship Management:Act as a senior point of contact for key clients, ensuring their expectations are met or exceededBuild and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure project satisfactionQuality Assurance:Oversee quality control processes, troubleshooting and resolving issues efficientlyIdentify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising on qualitySafety Compliance:Demonstrate visible safety leadership through regular site visits and active engagement with staffEnsure compliance with HSEQ policies and adequate training for all personnelReport safety incidents promptly and take proactive steps to maintain a safe work environmentSkills and Experience Required:Extensive experience within the electrical construction industry, with expertise in estimating, project management (Tier 1 and Tier 2 projects), and construction managementBackground in Electrical engineering or an electrical tradeProven experience in senior management roles, including P&L responsibility and financial oversight (WIPs, Budgets/Forecasting)In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, construction processes, safety regulations, and Australian standardsProficient in project management software (MS Project, MS Excel) and reporting toolsAbility to travel regularly across Australia to oversee multiple project sitesWhy Join?This role offers the chance to lead an experienced team and make a meaningful impact on the company's growth and success.
