Robina Private Hospital is a 90 bed private hospital with three specialist mental health and rehabilitation wards along with consultancy, outpatient, mental health and day rehabilitation programs and day surgery services.We are accepting expressions of interest for a permanent part-time experienced Clinical Nurse who prides themselves on providing high standards of care with a professional and positive attitude, with the ability to lead nursing teams in our general adult mental health and alcohol and other drugs ward.Minimum Requirements:Current AHPRA registration as a Registered NurseMinimum of 3 years' clinical experiencePrevious experience in mental health servicesAbility to mentor staff and lead nursing teams in a calm, professional mannerProven problem-solving and de-escalation skillsSolutions-focused and desire to contribute to a positive workplace cultureAnalytical skills to assess and evaluate health information to provide quality patient careDemonstrated application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to patient careExcellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently as well as in a team displaying a 'can do' attitudeProven commitment to professional development and quality improvementOpen honest approach with the ability to maintain confidentialityMust have a high level of documentation understanding and compliance and able to perform auditsMust provide a National Police check within the past 3 monthsProof of immunisation against vaccine-preventable diseases and TGA approved COVID-19 vaccinationExperience working with patients with General Adult Mental Health and Alcohol and Other DrugsCompletion of a recognised Graduate Nurse Program, a specialist clinical qualification or ongoing educationAll enquiries and written applications (including current resume and cover letter addressing essential criteria) to: Karren Martin, Director Of NursingYour application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?Do you have a current Police Check (National Police Certificate) for employment?
