Head of Talent & Performance We are seeking an experienced Head of Talent and Performance to shape and lead the talent and performance strategy.
Scaling organisation Competitive package Can be based across Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney This is an exciting, newly created role within one of Australia's fastest growing industries.
This role oversees key HR functions including talent acquisition, workforce planning, learning and development and performance management.
The successful candidate will foster a high-performance culture that aligns with their values of innovation, sustainability, and excellence.
This role will be responsible for building and executing a comprehensive talent and performance strategy to ensure they have the right talent to meet current and future business objectives.
This will include building the employer brand and engaging with stakeholders to design and manage talent pipelines for critical roles.
Critical to this role is driving a high-performing teams framework.
Key Responsibilities Design and implement innovative talent acquisition strategies to meet current and future business needs.
Develop and lead succession planning efforts, ensuring readiness for key leadership roles.
Establish and enhance performance management frameworks to foster continuous development and feedback.
Collaborate with senior leadership to align talent strategies with the organization's objectives.
Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the talent management space.
Oversee the creation and delivery of learning and career development programs.
Utilise HR analytics to evaluate the impact of talent initiatives and recommend data-driven improvements.
What We Are Looking For Ideally, 15 years in talent management, HR, or related fields, with at least 10 years in leadership roles.
Strong ability to develop strategic plans and lead distributed teams effectively.
Experience working within white collar, fast-paced environments across Oil and Gas, Energy or Infrastructure related organisations Proven expertise in talent acquisition, Learning, capability uplift and performance management strategies.
Experience in complex organisations as well as smaller environments is ideal Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
A proactive mindset with the ability to balance strategic vision with operational needs.
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field.
