Environmental Team Lead

Environmental, Earth & Geosciences (Science & Technology) Join Geo-Logix, a boutique consultancy renowned for its expertise in contaminated land and geotechnical engineering since 2005.
We focus on providing comprehensive contaminated land services, due diligence, and auditing, catering primarily to the property sector.
Our clientele includes some of the country's largest and most forward-thinking property developers, keen to invest in complex sites and ready for a science-driven approach to site challenges involving soil, groundwater, and ground gases.
We're looking for an experienced leader to head our environment team, a role essential to our growth strategy.
As the team leader, you'll be at the forefront of mentoring junior staff, developing SAQPs, overseeing project completion, conducting technical and quality reviews, and preparing winning proposals and tenders.
You'll also play a vital role in expanding our client base and team.
Ideal for a self-motivated professional with strong communication skills, this role is perfect for someone who can engage clients with both expertise and personality, fostering long-term relationships.
You'll work closely with our director, contributing significantly to the business's strategic growth.
For those interested, there's a pathway toward accreditation as a Site Auditor, with opportunities to gain hands-on experience.

The successful applicant must demonstrate the following skills and experiences:
Bachelor's degree in earth sciences and/or environmental engineeringMinimum of 7+ years experience in contaminated landStrong background in field investigation methods (soil, groundwater, vapour, bulk gases)Experienced across a broad range of contaminating industriesTechnically competentAbility to mentor and manage a team of scientistsStrong communication skills (written and verbal)Enthusiastic and willing to learnDemonstrated ability to work independently, organize and prioritize demands, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlinesProfessional and friendly attitudeIf you're ready to make a real impact in a supportive, forward-thinking environment, we'd love to hear from you
