Instructional Coach Apply now Job no: 507353 Work type: ongoing full-time Location: St Madeleine's Primary School - Kenthurst Categories: Teaching Permanent, Full time position - Term 1, 2025 We are seeking a skilled Instructional Coach Year 4-6 to be accountable for leading and learning, through collaboration, instructional leadership, supporting evidence-based practice and a commitment to their own learning.
Responsibilities:Contributes to the delivery of the system strategic intent and learning agenda within the local school contextExercises Catholic leadership and fosters the faith formation of students and staffLeads the implementation of the learning framework, agreed pedagogical practice, and school action plan with a focus on literacy and numeracy skillsCoaches teachers and models agreed practice to support students at the point of need using data and research-informed practice in literacy and numeracyEnables teachers to transfer intervention strategies to the local contextSupports teachers in the use of assessment and developing differentiated and personalised learning opportunitiesAnalyses and uses data to assist other leaders and teachers in understanding student and teacher learning needsInforms the professional learning and capacity building program of the schoolContributes to a culture of collaboration and shared responsibility across the schoolTypical Experience and Qualifications:Accredited tertiary qualification in education or degree in a specific discipline with a graduate degree in teachingExperience in intervention strategies across literacy and/or numeracy such as R3, EMU, TLPDemonstrated success in improving student learning outcomes in literacy and numeracyCapacity to work with other professionals to improve practiceWorking with Children CheckAustralian resident or citizenThe Organisation
Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment across 80 primary and secondary schools and within early learning and out of school hours care centres in Western Sydney.
This position involves working with children.
The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment including the completion of a National Police Check, retention of a valid Working with Children Check and adoption and compliance with CSPD'S Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct When Working With Students and Children.
CSPD promotes the safety and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, and children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds.
