Come and be a part of this success.About the RoleWe are seeking experienced Auto Electricians in the Bowen Basin at our Saraji and Goonyella deployments.
Rosters can vary depending on site: 7/7 day/night and 7/7 days only.Demonstrating a strong focus on safety, your primary duties will include but are not limited to the following:Scheduled and breakdown maintenance of all heavy mobile equipment including trucks, dozers, drills and excavatorsConducting preventative maintenance inspections and identifying and rectifying faultsInitiate updates to work procedures to ensure they are accurate and relevant to equipmentIdentifying opportunities for continuous improvementAbout YouAuto Electrician Trade (Australian recognised)A strong background as an Auto Electrician working ideally with Caterpillar, Komatsu and LiebherrExperience with Terex O&K/Caterpillar & Hitachi Excavators/Caterpillar Dozers/Sandvik Drills will be highly regardedPrevious experience within mining is preferredExperience with computerised maintenance management systems including SAP and CAT SISExcellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skillsWhat is on offer?Permanent Employment with an attractive remuneration and benefits packageAttractive annual BHP bonus scheme paid every SeptemberGenerous BHP share match scheme – Share for ShareBHP's BIG THANKS employee recognition monetary points programSignificantly discounted preferred supplier corporate partner rewards in volume for all BHP Employee – Never pay full price for your holiday againOn-going career development with growth opportunities within Operations Services and broader BHPAbout Our ProcessAt BHP, we are committed to employing individuals who align with the BHP Charter Values and meet the requirements of the role.
