The primary purpose of this hands-on development role is to provide expertise to support, develop and enhance the Oracle ERP application and systems integration to improve business efficiencies and processes.
This is a key role responsible for the production support, design, coding and development, testing and maintenance of Oracle applications financial modules following coding standards and industry best practice, to deliver programs and solutions to support business agility.
Skills & Experience Required Essential Technical Experience 5+ years of recent experience in Oracle eBusiness technical development related to Oracle financial Application R12.1.3, specialised in AP and AR modulesProven recent work experience using SQL, PL/SQL, API, Forms, Reports and XML Publisher componentsExperience with software development methodologies and SDLC lifecycleOther Key Skills Ability to work in a team environment or independently with minimal supervisionAdvanced knowledge of application design principles, practices, system development and analysisAbility to operate at a conceptual level with proficiency converting business problems into solutionsExperience in conducting unit and system integration testingAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication, and change management skillsAbility to build positive and professional business relationshipsExperience in developing and maintaining Oracle APEX application (desirable)Key Responsibilities Solutions Design Evaluate, analyse, and translate technical requirements into robust and sustainable solutionsClearly articulate technical solutions by:Creating solution designs which meet business requirements that are clearly documentedMaking provisions for future enhancements and long term systems sustainabilityOperational Excellence Act as a subject matter expert in the technical design, analysis and development/enhancement of the Oracle eBusiness application and related integration with 3rd party applicationsLeverage industry best practice in establishing sound software development and delivery methodologiesActively seek out continuous service improvement opportunities to increase business efficiency and effectiveness using innovative design thinkingDesign and develop applications, program enhancements and fixes, and provide robust support of systemsEnsure all code is quality assured through sound unit test cases and effective regression testingWhy join Rexel?
