We are on the lookout for an exceptional laundry assistant / housekeeper to join the team casually, working in our beautiful village.
Take pride in laundering our residents' cherished linen and clothing.A job where you're rewarded for your workAbout the Role We have an exciting opportunity to join our incredible support team as a casual Laundry Assistant / Housekeeper at Bert Newton Retirement Village in Highett.
There are no set days; however, you may be called upon to cover a variety of 8am - 1pm shifts across a 7-day week.
Please indicate in your application your availability.
Christmas & January cover is highly desirable.
Our laundry staff play a crucial role in delivering service that is good enough for mum and dad.

In this role you will:
Conduct routine cleans in our care centre, serviced apartments, and common areas.Be responsible for the general tidiness/cleanliness of the village.Ensure the smooth and efficient laundering, sorting, and delivery of linen and residents' personal clothing.Operate the machinery to aid the cleaning and sterilisation process.Observe all health and safety precautions for the protection of residents, staff, and visitors.About You To thrive in our supportive and caring environment, you will have:
