12 weeks paid parental leave for primary caregivers and 6 weeks paid secondary care giver's leaveTraining and development opportunitiesOpportunities to be part of our wide and active range of Employee Resourcing Groups: Reconciliation, Gender, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD), Disability, Mental Health and Neurodiversity, and Perth Mint with PrideCharity and volunteer initiativesIncome protection after an accident or illnessHealth and wellness programs, including an Employee Assistance Program, ongoing wellbeing initiatives, and workplace community building spacesYour role as a Mechanical Fitter will involve: Diagnose and repair breakdowns using advanced problem solving techniques and strong technical expertiseProvide mechanical preventative maintenanceOperate hand tools, power tools, welders and general machining, including an EWP and a ForkliftComplete daily work records, machine log books and preventative maintenance work sheetsComplete a Safety Take 5 for each task undertaken and JSA as requiredImplement a program of continual process improvementComply fully with all relevant company, national and state policies, codes of practice, regulations and lawsMaintain skills and experience as required in a contemporary work environmentEnsure own safety and health at work and avoid adversely affecting the safety or health of any other person through any act or omission at workAvoid adversely impacting the environment through any act or omission at work and report identified environmental hazards and incidentsExperience: Demonstrated experience in Mechanical EngineeringRelevant Trades Licenses are desirable (e.g., Forklift, Working at Heights, etc.
