Ownership of stakeholder and vendor relationshipsHybrid working from our Melbourne officeWrite your story with ZipAs the Procurement Analyst in our IT & Security team, you will play a pivotal role in optimising our procurement processes, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing and consolidation of our tooling.You will ensure that goods and services are acquired at the best possible prices and within established timelines and assists with the day to day administration.As part of your role you'll conduct data analysis to identify procurement trends, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements, which you'll then present back to the business. Therefore, you will have an analytical approach to problem solving.You will work closely with various vendors and stakeholders from across the business, at various levels, while being supported by the Procurement Manager and Head of IT.What you'll bring to the teamZipsters work on a broad range of initiatives, and our skills and experiences all look a little different. What really matters to us is that you're a great fit with our four Values, and have a desire to learn and grow.So whether you meet some or all of the desirable attributes below, we'd still love to hear from you:Understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systemsMinimum 2 years experience as a procurement officer or related positionSolid experience with the Google Suite (sheets is a must)Strong stakeholder management skills - you'll have to coordinate with all levels of Finance, P&C, global subsidiariesProven structured problem solving and/or various mental modelsAbility to negotiate, establish, and administer contractsAn aptitude for identifying and managing risks.
