This is a casual position.
Ensure that all areas of the residence are kept hygienic and presentableContribute to a comfortable, welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitorsCleaning in line with all chemical and infection control requirements and accreditation standardsEnsuring resident privacy and dignity is always maintainedIdentify and report maintenance issues for our residents, ensuring they are escalated in a timely mannerAbout you: You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents.
You also:
Demonstrate a high level of kindness and respect for residents' property and privacyHave previous experience cleaning in a large organisation or commercial environment (preferred but not essential)Have sound knowledge of OH&S procedures, relevant chemicals and safe work practices (preferred but not essential)An understanding of infection control proceduresWork effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision as required and as part of a teamThrive in a team and also appreciate the one-to-one interactionsAre committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the BEST way of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust)Essentials for working in Aged Care: A current Working With Children Check cardCurrent and ongoing flu vaccinationsAustralian working rightsAbility to pass a national police clearance and NDIS ClearanceMake a positive difference in your community – apply now Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are encouraged to apply for this role.
