Supportive and collaborative team environment – if you are taking your first steps in the ECC space we can provide shadow shifts with an experienced ECC Vet to support you on your journey.
About You Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent with Veterinary Registration in NSW (or eligible for the same) is essential.
Experience in an emergency veterinary setting is desirable; however, if you have a great attitude and want to learn, we want to hear from you
We like to play it fair amongst our team; therefore, availability to cover evenings, overnights, and weekends is a must.

About ARH The Animal Referral Hospital - Greater Western Sydney is excited to have opened our fifth Specialist and Emergency Hospital in September 2023.
As a multidisciplinary Veterinary Hospital, we are proud to offer Western Sydney pet owners and their pets access to gold standard Emergency and Specialist services.
You will be working in a brand-new purpose-built Veterinary hospital with access to a full range of diagnostic imaging including high-field MRI, CT, Fluoroscopy, Endoscopy, and Ultrasound.
A state-of-the-art ICU, three operating theatres, integrated RX works, and Smartflow to support patient management.
We also have dedicated training facilities including a wet lab and education centre to train the future generation of veterinary professionals.

Education We want to provide continuing education and learning opportunities that match your development aspirations, so we have partnered with some of the industry's leading providers as well as developing our own programs, all to offer you extensive CE options: All-inclusive attendance at one of the largest annual veterinary symposiums in Australia – our very own Greencross Clinical Symposium, with one of 7 streams dedicated specifically to emergency and critical care.
Your choice of professional membership from AVA membership or Vet Board registration.
The opportunity to apply for scholarships for high-level education courses including the University of Melbourne Graduate Certificate in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care.
Access to your choice of two online resources such as VIN, VECCS, Dove Lewis, Wiley, Vet Webinar, Plumbs, Elsevier, VetFolio, and Vetstream.
Hone your clinical skills by attending some of our workshops and wetpracs, taught by specialists and leading experts from across the country.
Regular topics include soft tissue surgery skills, drain and tube placements, mechanical ventilation, POCUS ultrasound, and more.
If you wanted further insight on a critical case, you can join in on our company-wide "quarterly critical case reviews" and pick the brains of those in our incredible network.
If obtaining your memberships is a goal for you, we have a monthly membership study group and practice exam sessions, run by Dr. Kate Camillo.
Provide a calmer experience for your patients with Stress Free Pets certification.
Maximize patient outcomes during CPR with RECOVER certification, the only standardized CPR training available to veterinary professionals.
