WEM has a rewarding opportunity for a Site Engineer to join the team.
We have a strong portfolio of work with multiple projects underway across Sydney's Northwest and Southwest, Hunter and Illawarra regions.
This role will require travel to job sites across the area, predominantly in a designated region.
Key Responsibilities: Utilise your thorough understanding of drawings, specifications and quality, WHS and environmental requirements for all site-related activities.Support the implementation of the project quality, WHS and environmental management plans on all projects.Assist with daily project monitoring for toolbox inspections, checklists, documentation and record keeping.Assist with the monitoring and updating of the construction program and site activity.Ensure materials are procured in advance of the requirements of the construction program.Assist in monitoring daily work activities to maximise the utilisation of plant and resources.Implement improvements for managing site-related costs.About You: Bachelor of Engineering Degree1-2 years previous experience as an engineer in the civil industry, ideally in residential subdivisionCurrent White Card & Drivers LicenceCommitment to health, safety, environment and quality standards and practicesStrong relationship-building, influencing and negotiation skillsA proactive and positive attitude with the ability to use initiativeGreat communication and organisation skills, including strong attention to detailStrategic and analytical thinking skills with the ability to problem solveThe ability to be computer savvy, including the use of CRM-based applications and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suiteRemuneration: Competitive salary aligned with your experience
