Our industry focus includes aerospace and defence, healthcare, telecommunications, rail transportation, semiconductor, geospatial, industrial, and energy.Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Support design activities as per project requirements and deliver with quality and respect timelines.Participate in design/verification reviews and provide associated reports.Conduct self and team's internal quality checks and ensure the accuracy and consistency all across deliveries.Technically assist Sr Engineers or Leads on meeting Project milestones and Stakeholder's KPI's.Maintain process related and applicable documents.Contribute to turn backs and RCAs.Required Skills:Thorough knowledge on Sheet metal component design, material and thickness selection.Competent on Electrical harness modeling in CATIA V5 – Electrical harness Routing (EHI) and Electrical Fitting installation (EFI).Independently handle Electrical harness modeling related to subsystem and car level.Able to interpret electrical schematics and good understanding and able to apply while routing the harness.Wire Bundle calculation.Selection of protection, connectors, conduit, etc.Good Knowledge of materials & mechanical characteristics.Ability to perform a weight assessment on assemblies, aggregates and installations.Ability to analyze manufacturing non-conformity and to validate a back-up solution.Ability to integrate manufacturing requirements in the design & perform dimensional stack up.Able to define fasteners and joint design.Able to do sheet metal Design & Drafting.Able to define the most suitable design according to the assembly criticality.Good knowledge of drawing rules and GDT&T using relevant standards ASME, DIN, EN, ISO, MIL, SAE and DO.Hands-on experience of CAD tools like Catia V5 and PLM platform like Teamcenter to create and validate 3D and 2D.Design of Mounting definitions for subsystems, with due consideration of boundary conditions & failure opportunities.Able to perform basic calculation on screwed assemblies.Knowledge on electrical components is preferred.Candidates from Aero industry experience is preferred.Overall Experience: 4 to 7 YearsSkills & Experience: Dassault Systemes CATIA (Computer Aided Three-Dimensional Interactive Application), Electrical ComponentsCyient is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Cyient recruits, employs, trains, compensates, and promotes regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, veteran status, and other protected status as required by applicable law.
