With unwavering attention to detail, we leave no aspect untouched, because we believe in delivering nothing but excellence for our clients.About YouBachelors degree in construction or related field.Position SummaryThe Estimator is responsible for ensuring the specific project has the required materials, equipment and labour through cost estimations. You will work closely with other stakeholders to ensure the feasibility of the project and adjust any cost estimates where needed. You will ensure a project is delivered within budget and on time.Key Requirements3-5 years construction estimating experience working in the infrastructure industry (required)3 years experience in construction estimationDemonstrated ability to determine key variables for cost and other estimatesDemonstrated experience in reading design plans and developing cost estimatesExperience gathering accurate information from sites, suppliers and other venuesStrong knowledge in design, planning and legislative requirementsFamiliarity with financial and project management principlesStrong understanding of infrastructure construction processHas experience building relationshipsExperience using Estimating tool/softwareConfident negotiation skillsAbility to multi-task and work under pressureStrong analytical and mathematical skillsPersistent approach to time managementHigh levels of enthusiasm, energy and resourcefulnessExcellent planning, organisation and computer skillsA high degree of accountability and attention to detailJob ResponsibilityManaging the operation of projects from conception to planning and executionGather proposals, specifications and related documents needed for a project estimateIdentify design and constructability issuesConduct analysis to determine constructabilityCoordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projectsEnsure that all projects are delivered on time, within the scope and within budgetDeveloping project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibilityDevelop a detailed project plan to track progressMeasure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniquesReport and escalate to management as neededCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentationWork in a safe manner and always follow safety rulesJob FunctionsEstimatingJob BenefitsWe work out of a young, vibrant and dynamic space.
