If you're excited about crafting innovative solutions that bring users exactly what they need, when they need it, we'd love to have you on boardTHE OPPORTUNITY:As a FullStack Software Engineer on our team, you'll collaborate closely with senior engineers (Frontend, Machine Learning, Data, and Backend) to design and implement seamless solutions that make onboarding and using our personalization platform a standout experience. Once aligned on direction, you'll own key features end-to-end, from initial implementation to production deployment. You'll play a key role in building intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and robust systems that help customers unlock the full potential of our personalisation tools from day one.YOUR ROLE WILL CONSIST OF:Contributing to the frontend ecosystem for personalisation, including frontend libraries and documentationBuilding thoughtfully designed, composable UI components that the team and customers can leverageImplementing and owning "backend for frontend" APIs that bridge frontend needs with our core systemsBuilding dashboard experiences based on product directions and customer feedbackMaking user-centric decisions while keeping the team informed and alignedYOU MIGHT BE A FIT IF YOU:Have experience with React and Typescript, with opinions about component architectureExcel at breaking down complex features into clear, composable building blocksAre comfortable diving deep into different layers of the stack to debug issues and improve system understandingHave strong focus on user experience to build softwareTake pride in shipping polished features that users loveCan drive projects forward independently while maintaining clear communicationAre able to make autonomous decisions for which you will take ownershipNICE TO HAVE:Familiarity with GoFamiliarity with Google Cloud PlatformUnderstanding of ML concepts and their practical implicationsTrack record of shipping features in collaborative environmentsExperience shipping developer-facing tools or APIs to productionExperience with rapid prototyping and iterationTEAM'S CURRENT STACK:Frontend: React, TypeScriptWE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN LIVE BY OUR VALUES:GRIT - Problem-solving and perseverance capability in an ever-changing and growing environmentTRUST - Willingness to trust our co-workers and to take ownershipCANDOR - Ability to receive and give constructive feedback.CARE - Genuine care about other team members, our clients and the decisions we make in the company.HUMILITY - Aptitude for learning from others, putting ego aside.REMOTE STRATEGY:Algolia's flexible workplace model is designed to empower all Algolians to fulfill our mission to power search and discovery with ease.
