The Role As a Research Analyst in Jarden's leading Property and REITs team within Equity Research, you will be contributing to the generation of research and analysis of listed companies across the Property and REIT sectors on behalf of institutional asset management clients.
With a passion for equity markets, you will possess a creative mind and use your initiative to 'think outside the square' to contribute to a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities: Supporting the lead analysts in producing comprehensive research and analysis on listed companies across the REIT sector with a focus on providing strategic insightsInterpretation of news/market announcements/regulatory filings to form nuanced perspectives on industry trends and potential impacts on portfolio companiesCreation and refinement of financial models that underpin research reports and recommendationsPerforming in-depth analysis of key industry and company-specific revenue/earnings drivers and maintaining a deep understanding of market dynamicsAssisting with client and internal requests, providing expert guidance on listed companies and related industriesOverseeing the management of databases including the use of internal and third-party data sources, ensuring the availability of accurate and comprehensive information.About You You will possess a creative mind and a can-do mentality.

You can build strong relationships across the research and sales team as well as with clients.
In addition, you have:
Exceptional proficiency in Excel and financial modelling skills coupled with a strong understanding of corporate accounting principlesExpertise in corporate finance valuation methodologies and an understanding of equity market valuation metricsA basic understanding of the REIT sector, with a preference for highly motivated candidates with accounting (valuation) experience.A high degree of attention to detail and well-developed report writing skills with the ability to distil in-depth analysis in a clear and concise mannerExceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling the articulation of complex ideas clearly and succinctlyA strong academic foundation / relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting or Engineering disciplines.
