Mathematics Teacher Full-Time Permanent Position Commencing January 2025 Oakhill College seeks to appoint an innovative Mathematics Teacher with excellent communication skills to deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons, provide guidance and support to students, and contribute to the overall academic and pastoral care of students.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience in the areas of:
Teaching Mathematics across stages 4 – 6; Planning and implementing effective Maths lessons and teaching and learning strategies; Creating engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of students; Assessing, providing feedback, and reporting on student learning; Developing teaching programs across all stages preferred however not essential; Ability to implement new syllabi; Managing student behaviour; A thorough knowledge of current pedagogy. The successful applicant will: Demonstrate a clear understanding and commitment to the Mission of the Catholic School; Be supportive of the Lasallian ethos of the College; Adhere to the College's Safeguarding Standards and Child Protection policies and procedures; Be an experienced, innovative, and engaging team member; Teach with excellence, professionalism and commitment; Have an ability to relate to girls and boys with a practical knowledge of boy's education issues and initiatives in the foundation years (Stage 4 and 5); Be committed to professional growth and development of excellence.
