About The Role: This rewarding opportunity will see you join the Mater Hospital in North Sydney as an Enrolled Nurse in our DSU/Endoscopy department.
The Day surgery Unit includes many different specialties including Gastroenterology, Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Urology, Plastics and Angiography.
We are also a DOSA (Day of Admission) Centre.
In July 2025 we will be moving into a brand-new Day Surgery Unit within the Mater.
This role will be part time, working 32 hours per week and will be pivotal in making a change in your career.
The primary role includes admission and care of preoperative patients and recovering post-operative patients.
You will bring your passion to the role where you will work with an amazing team to support the needs of the patients.
About You: As an outstanding Enrolled Nurse, you have at least 1-2 years of experience.
Skills and knowledge with post-operative patients preferred.
Ability to adapt with changes, and new practices.
Keen to learn and flexible with roster allocations.
Desirable – previous Day Surgery experience.

About The Mater: In this role you will be based at the Mater hospital, North Sydney.
One of Sydney's premier private hospitals.
Close by to train stations at North Sydney, St Leonards, and Crows Nest, and buses on Pacific Highway.
The only Australian hospital that is a member of the International Society of Orthopaedic Centres.
Core specialties include Obstetrics, Orthopaedics including hip and knee joint replacements, bone and sports injuries, cardiology, cancer care and surgery, lung and vascular medicine, ear, nose and throat surgery, urology, endocrine surgery, and neurosurgery.
