About Our Business Fletcher Insulation is a leading Australian manufacturer and distributor of insulation products, with iconic brands such as Pink Batts and Sisalation.
We are an Australian company, and part of the Fletcher Building group, a New Zealand-owned multinational group employing 14,500 people.
Our products are used extensively in the building industry on residential and commercial projects and are supplied through our specialist customer channels, which include builders, insulation 'supply and fit' businesses, commercial contractors, national outlets, and retail hardware stores.
We are also well recognised in the building industry for our technical capability, providing expert technical advice to architects, designers, builders, and homeowners on the best insulation solutions for their projects.
About the Role We are excited to be recruiting for a dynamic thinking Commercial Analyst at our Dandenong site reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager.
The Commercial Analyst will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive reporting, analytics, and insights across a broad range of functions including Sales, Pricing, Customer Rebates, New product development, as well as P&L analysis, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Business cases to support our strategic goals.

Responsibilities Partner with teams in product development, supply chain, and sales to ensure alignment with commercial strategies.Create and present clear, impactful reports and dashboards for decision-making.Conduct assessments in customer rebates, new product development, and other investment projects.Work closely with Sales and Finance teams to deliver accurate sales budgets and forecasts.Manage the rebates function from strategy implementation to process improvement.Analyse product data, pricing strategies, and competitor pricing to determine fair product values while maintaining margins.Run morning meetings and share findings with key stakeholders.Analyse sales data to highlight growth, risks, and opportunities; track market trends and customer behaviour.Skills and Experience CA / CPA qualified or working towards one of these qualifications desirable.Previous experience within Commercial Finance in a large FMCG business.Experience in business partnering with finance and non-finance stakeholders.Effective and persuasive communication skills.Passionate about problem solving and creating solutions.Advanced in Excel and complex financial modelling ability with strong PowerPoint skills.SAP, Power BI experience is beneficial.Why Join Our Team Leading Parental Leave policy – 26 weeks paid for primary carers.Great Parental Leave for Secondary Caregivers tooAmazing return-to-work options for parents coming back to work."Work Perks" Discounts for the whole family.Ongoing Training and Development to enhance your career.Join us and our Partnership with the Smith Family – Supporting Youth Education.If you consider yourself an experienced and passionate Finance professional and you are excited about leveraging your technical, commercial & influencing competencies then APPLY NOW for your chance to interview
