Senior Medical Officer, Clinical GovernanceMetro South Clinical Governance, Risk and Legal are looking for a Senior Medical Officer to join their team.
Provide clinical leadership in patient safety and quality improvement across Metro South Health, promoting innovative strategies to enhance the reliability, safety, and effectiveness of clinical care.
Work collaboratively with executives, senior managers, staff, and consumers to ensure a coordinated, evidence-based approach to clinical governance that upholds contemporary healthcare standards, improves patient outcomes, and enhances the overall patient experience.
About the Role Work collaboratively with the Directorates and attend meetings as required to support patient safety and quality by influencing and supporting them to take an evidenced-based quality, safety and risk management approach.Lead and support organisational strategic quality improvements to ensure MSH has systems of care that are safe and reliable.Provide high-level advice on matters relevant to clinical governance to the Director Clinical Governance and MSH Executive.Provide leadership for the implementation of the safety and quality elements of the Service Level Agreement, including accreditation, to provide integrated and coordinated healthcare across MSH.Our values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Engagement and Excellence, shape our culture within Metro South Health.
