Job Description ESV has entered an exciting growth phase and have seen significant growth in our Corporate Tax offering to our client base to the extent we are looking for a Senior Tax Manager to take the lead of our dynamic Corporate Tax Cell.
We are a market leader in providing business advisor and taxation services to businesses, family groups and high net wealth individuals.
Our clients range from dynamic start-ups to listed entities, large family groups and inbounds.
Our tax team provide strategic tax consulting in the areas of:
Corporate and international tax Reviewing tax provisions Deferred tax calculations Preparation of detailed memorandums of advice (we do some really interesting work) Tax controversary If you thrive on seeking solutions for your clients and are keen to grow and learn with an evolving team this opportunity may be the one you have been looking for.
What you'll be doing
Manage your own portfolio WIP management Work directly with clients Assisting Partners with preparation of corporatetax advice Contribute to internal projects – which drive innovation at our firm Mentor members of the team What you need to succeed
Eight years' + experience in a professional accounting practice in a Business Advisor / Tax role Completed your CA or CPA (or equivalent) Understand current tax legislation, principles and reporting requirements Good technical, problem-solving and analytical skills Clear communication style - you'll chat to colleagues and clients via email, telephone, Teams and face to face Desire to learn and to maintain technical knowledge.
Ability to build long-lasting client relationships Experience with working to budgets, meeting productivity targets and an ability to train and mentor junior team members Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines and strong stakeholder management A self-starter who can manage autonomous work as well as sharing ideas to drive team culture and success What we promise to provide
