We're a fully distributed, remote-first company, with our growing team located across North and South America, Australia, and Europe.We empower our team to experiment with their ideas and create commercial solutions that propel their growth and make a real impact.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a select group of highly talented interns to join our team in the development of advanced quantitative research for financial markets.
Interns will apply sophisticated and complex statistical techniques to analyse market data and identify trends.
You will work in small, highly collaborative teams, contributing to cutting-edge financial research projects.Key ResponsibilitiesConceptualise trading strategies, develop and continuously improve upon mathematical models, and help translate algorithms into codeBack test and implement trading models and signals in a live trading environmentUse unconventional data sources to drive innovationConduct research and statistical analysis to build and refine monetisation systems for trading signalsRequirementsUndergraduate or PhD graduate candidates in computer science or engineeringStrong knowledge of probability and statistics (e.g., machine learning, time-series analysis, pattern recognition, NLP)Prior experience working in a data driven research environmentExperience with translating mathematical models and algorithms into code (Python)Clear, concise, and proactive communicatorDetail-orientedWilling to take ownership of his/her work, working both independently and within a small teamOpportunities available remotely or via our physical offices in New York, London, and MelbourneBenefitsOur commitment to high performance outcomes is reflected in competitive salary and performance structures.We're a fully distributed, remote-first, fast-growing company offering flexibility on location.
