Relevant Qualifications: A degree in education with a focus on Digital Technologies or related modules.Contemporary Teaching Experience: Proven experience in teaching Digital Technologies in a primary school setting.Strong Understanding of the Australian Curriculum: In-depth knowledge of the Digital Technologies curriculum, including data representation, digital systems, and programming concepts.Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using various digital tools and educational software to create engaging and interactive lessons.Innovative Teaching Methods: Ability to design and implement hands-on, real-world projects that make learning relevant and exciting for students.Commitment to Professional Development: Proactively engage in professional learning to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.Child Safety Commitment: Dedication to maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.At BCE, our teachers are required to: Hold a current Queensland College of Teachers registration.Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.Have a commitment to Safeguarding.The Archdiocese of Brisbane has standards of conduct for workers to maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
Our commitment to these standards requires that we conduct working with children checks and background referencing for all persons who will engage in direct and regular involvement with children and young people and/or adults-at-risk.
