Gold Fields | Lead Specialist Sustainability Systems

Gold Fields is a globally diversified gold producer with nine operating mines in Australia, South Africa, Ghana, Peru, Canada, and Chile.
Gold Fields' mining assets in the Australia region include a 100% interest in the St Ives, Agnew, and Granny Smith mines and a 50:50 interest in the Gruyere JV project with Gold Road Resources.
In this technical leadership role, as a Lead Specialist Sustainability Systems within the Sustainable Development team, you will oversee & champion all things related to safety & health management systems & processes related to our incident management system (INX InControl) and drive the effectiveness of our regulatory compliances, risk management & mitigation, and continuous improvement across our assets.
Additionally, the role includes overseeing the reporting and analysis of safety and health data to drive initiatives to reduce exposure to principal mining hazards and ensure the systems are robust and fit for purpose.
This role is offered on a 9-day fortnight roster at our Perth corporate office.
For this role, we will consider full-time, part-time, or job share options.

Provide technical support to end users, including access requests, troubleshooting and resolving issues Configure and customize the software to meet organizational requirements Integrate the software with other enterprise systems as needed Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all systems configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps Ensure clear communication of any system changes or upgrades to stakeholders Oversee the full lifecycle of incident management, ensuring effective follow-up, investigation, and closure of actions arising from incidents Coordinate the linking of events to the risk module and control failures, ensuring proper risk assessments are updated and maintained Conduct quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) checks on incident records and investigations, ensuring adherence to organizational standards and processes Ensure accurate reporting of incident data and trends for leadership review Lead the ongoing improvement of safety & health platforms to streamline data management and reporting About you:
Tertiary qualifications in sustainability, data analytics, or a related discipline.
Proven experience in a similar role, incident management system (InControl) management systems, preferably within the resources sector.
