About the Role Based in Miles, you will be part of the Works Maintenance team responsible for maintaining Council's roads and infrastructure across the region.
Reporting to the Works Supervisor, you will: Provide a high standard of operating skills on civil construction and maintenance plant, particularly a Slasher;Adhere to safe work practices;Complete allocated tasks within agreed time frames.About you Current C Class Driver's Licence (HR advantageous);Construction Induction White Card;Strong awareness of relevant safety standards and requirements;Good time management skills and capability to complete allocated tasks while working within a team;Knowledge of the MUTCD and its application (desirable);Physically fit and enjoy manual labor.What we offer: Work-life balance - 9-day fortnightAccess to Corporate Health PlanSalary Packaging available - Motor Vehicles, Superannuation, Remote Area Housing (Rent), Fuel, Gas, and ElectricityLocality allowanceJob security in a local government positionIf you enjoy working outdoors and have a passion for working in a team to construct and maintain our Community's infrastructure, this role is for you.
