Shaw Electrical Solutions - For Smarter Services – Tamworth NSWShaw Electrical Solutions specialise in providing commercial projects with electrical, data, access control and CCTV systems.ResponsibilitiesElectrical, data, access control and CCTV Installations: Perform installations in accordance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct routine maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance and safety.Wiring and Circuitry: Install and repair wiring, circuits, and fixtures, ensuring adherence to industry standards and safety guidelines.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of workmanship.Documentation: Accurately document work performed and submit necessary paperwork promptly.Customer Service: Interact with clients professionally, addressing their queries.Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with team members.Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry advancements and safety practices.Training and Mentoring: Provide guidance to apprentices.Housekeeping: Keep work sites and company vehicles clean.Problem Solving: Engage in a solution-based culture.Tool Management: Maintain and care for tools and equipment.Key RequirementsYou must be qualified and experienced in commercial and industrial electrical and communications work.You must be able to work autonomously or alongside a cooperative team.Proven experience in installing and maintaining access control systems is highly advantageous.Can troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions.Strong attention to detail and precision in your work.Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams effectively.About YouQualified Electrician - NSW Electrical Trade Licence.Current open manual drivers' licence.Ability to obtain a NSW security licence.Current white card NSW construction induction (mandatory).Working at Height, High Risk License for Elevated Work Platform (WP) and Hoist (HP) (preferred).EWPA licence (yellow card – SL, BL & TL minimum) will be an advantage.Clear National Police Check.Current First aid, CPR and LV rescue will be an advantage.Previous experience in commercial electrical will be an advantage.Current data and communications cabling licence will be an advantage.You must be a good communicator with strong customer service skills.Knowledge of Simpro would be an advantage but not essential.BenefitsCompetitive pay rates with overtime available.4 weeks annual leave a year and RDO's.Vehicle provided and/or travelling allowance.Training opportunities.Long term career prospects.A supportive and flexible environment.About UsShaw Electrical Solutions is a leading provider of Electrical, Data, Access Control and CCTV Systems in the New England Northwest area.
