About the role?? ? As the Senior Manager – Governance and Assurance, you will advise the CTO on the effectiveness of Transurban's technology control environment.
You will govern the entire tech landscape, engage with stakeholders, provide insightful analysis, and support technology risk monitoring and governance.
You will also communicate current and emerging exposure areas and improvement opportunities to leadership.
You'll join an innovative team that shapes and guides stakeholder awareness of upcoming and emerging technology risk and control requirements.
As our Senior Manager – Governance and Assurance, you'll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities.

Day-to-day, you will:?? Working with Transurban's senior leadership to implement and lead various technology risk-related enterprise initiatives Being accountable for all CTO reporting and governance metrics at the strategic and operational level Establish networks and communication channels to stay aware of emerging risks to the technology domains and delivery of technology services, regulatory change, and new business initiatives Initiate and support workshops and assessments for new technology and delivery risks Conduct regular governance meetings to ensure compliance with agreed technology remediation plans This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:?? At least 5-10 years' experience in a Technology and/or Information Security service delivery, risk management and/or compliance role In-depth knowledge and practical experience of technology and operational risk frameworks, methodologies, management and control techniques is essential Considerable experience with developing briefing papers for senior executives Operational experience in designing, implementing and using operational risk tools and methodologies Excellent influencing skills together with experience and gravitas to provide challenge as required and establish credibility with stakeholders Strong analytical skills to interpret and present complex technical information Experience with Data Protection and Personal Information handling - desirable If you meet some of these requirements, but not all, we encourage you to submit your application.
