The Company:
Our client is an Australian owned retailer with stores and drive-thrus nationally and in NZ.
Currently, they are growing their network and are searching for a National Leasing Manager with retailer side experience and drive-thru leasing experience as an added bonus to join their team.
The Role:
As the National Leasing Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Strategy & Planning - short & long term planning for new & existing stores Source, negotiate and finalise new site locations Working closely with the operations team on ensuring fitout and store openings are effective Travelling interstate and NZ to Retail locations Relationship Management Manage and lead the leasing team Annual budgets and targets set Negotiate new lease terms for desirable locations Negotiate lease renewals Ensure timely and accurate documentation and record keeping Direct reports - Leasing Executive and Lease Administrator The Candidate:
5+ years experience in Retail Leasing or for a Retailer group or owner Business, planning and financial skills, including the ability to develop budgets and manage resources.
Highly developed management and leadership skills Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills Exposure to the retail management and development environment.
Knowledge of the property market including an understanding of the issues that exist for both Landlords and Tenants.
Understanding of the franchising industry and the Code of Conduct Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint competent.
