This is embedded into our business model and the ways we work- it's all part of the DNA that has led to over 100 years of success globally. The Impact You'll Make;We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Product Development Engineer to lead the execution of Customer-Back Innovation (CBI) projects.
The role demands a proactive and highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with relevant experience in designing products for civil, commercial and industrial applications; ensuring full-scope, on-time, and on-budget project delivery while modelling industry-leading technical innovation within our R&D team.
About You; Drive the design, development, and delivery of new product pipeline projects and initiativesLead projects and initiatives from concept through completion, managing development work to strict timelines and budgetsAdopt an 80/20 mindset and ensure alignment with the Customer-Back Innovation framework to achieve top-tier resultsUtilise industry-leading tools and methodologies such as DFMEA, DFx, Root Cause Analysis, Rapid Prototyping, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and Six SigmaMaintain the highest quality standards throughout the product development lifecycleEngage with cross-functional project stakeholders to manage scope, time, cost, and riskAs a senior engineer, mentor and coach R&D team members, fostering their professional growth and strengthening overall team capabilitiesEnsure all project deliverables meet relevant standards, codes, and internal guidelines, adhering to the highest performance criteria and industry practicesEducation & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical EngineeringChartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), with professional registration or eligibility is highly desirableWhat We Offer: Opportunity to lead cutting-edge innovation projectsA collaborative and growth-focused environment within a leading R&D teamCompetitive salary and benefits packageIn order to apply for this role, it is essential you reside in Australia and have full-working rights.
