Originally established in 1993 in Sydney, we have grown to a team of over 500 professionals spread across Australia.
This year, as we celebrate our 32nd year in business, we're incredibly proud to still be an Australian, privately owned business.
We provide our clients with quality commercial landscaping solutions, including Landscape construction, Landscape Maintenance, Civil, Building Services, Irrigation, Environmental Services, and Sports Turf/Golf Course management.
What to expect from a Business Development Manager position: Develop and build relationships with industry experts Selling a trusted brand of over 30 years High cold calling environment and approaching cold leads This will be a phone-based role for the first few months, focused on building relationships Set your week how it works best for you, especially with client visits and management Comfortable approaching new clients in the commercial landscaping space Some warm leads from existing clients and associations Established customer base with opportunities for continual referrals Internal support from industry experts Build and present customer-focused proposals to clients Develop and manage your own new client portfolio Support from an experienced sales and marketing team Up-to-date technology apps and services provided to make your job easier What will you need: People skills are a must and high priority for this position A driven attitude with a desire to consistently look for new work Experience with selling a service over a product is highly desirable Trade qualification or Degree in Business/Landscaping is advantageous Experience in Recruitment, Marketing, or Real Estate would be advantageous Outstanding negotiation and networking skills Independent and confident in your time management skills Not afraid to make calls to cold leads and warm leads alike What can we do for you: Opportunities for career progression in one of the largest commercial landscaping companies in Australia Access to industry-leading conferences and trade shows An exciting environment - no two days are the same Great work culture with long-standing colleagues to lean on Exposure to the commercial landscape maintenance sector Interested in joining the Landscape Solutions team?
