Australia's fastest growing Indoor Golf Entertainment brand, X-Golf Rockhampton is bringing more fun for all demographics with our exceptional Customer Service and Events in the local area.
Part of the X-Golf Group, the venue services a wide range of guests. We currently have an upbeat team who serve cocktails, drinks, and a full-service kitchen whilst customers enjoy indoor golf individually or often as part of large groups.
We are looking for someone to join our management team for an immediate start in preparation for our busy event season. As our business and team continues to grow, there are ample opportunities for personal growth and professional development within the venue for the right candidate.
About the role - Management Team PositionTasks & Responsibilities Assist in all front of house operations: shift running & driving, staff training and supervision, maintaining all venue standards, food and beverage service, customer relations and function running, hitting KPI's and sales on shift.Assist in back of house operations: Ordering and stocktake, rosters, recruitment, menu management, venue presentation and general maintenance (training provided), reporting, contribution to local area marketing.Reporting to Venue Manager.Key Performance Indicators Venue presentation & guest experience.Staff recruitment, development & engagement.Health and Safety.P&L Targets.Social Media targets.Assist with driving the business with LAM strategies.Food Safety Standards.Benefits and Perks Competitive salary & bonus structure based on experience.Work/life balance focused rostering.Career growth and development potential.About YouYou'll have a passion for creating exceptional guest experience through high levels of customer service using your experience and skills, ensuring your workplace is an amazing place for guests and staff to come to each day.You are able to make decisions that are beneficial to the venue while following guidance from the leadership team.Flexible to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays.You need to communicate effectively with all internal and external customers.Demonstrated strength and leadership skills.An interest in Golf would be an advantage.Ability to learn the technical aspects of the golf simulators.Experience and QualificationsPrior hospitality front of house experience.Demonstrated people management experience.Demonstrated experience with staffing and rostering.Experience with POS and booking systems preferable.Experience with event management and hospitality preferable.Current RSA.Current First Aid or willing to get certified.RMLV certificate preferable.Food handling and Food Safety.Skills and AbilitiesCommunication - both written and oral.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Outgoing.FunProblem solving.Adaptable.Cash Handling.Able to work autonomously.Completing internal audits.Maintain cleaning standards.Honest and respectful.Team player.Able to focus on best practice within the business.Send your resume and expression of interest to our Venue Manager Michelle by email ******
