Our physiotherapists work closely with patients, carers, referrers, other health care professionals and multidisciplinary teams to achieve safe, high quality patient care.
The Advanced Musculoskeletal Practice Physiotherapy position will work within the Spinal Pain Service and provide advanced surgical screening and coordination of care for patients referred to Neurosurgical Outpatients.
The Spinal Pain Service also provides physiotherapy assessments, management plans, education, and interventions for patients referred directly to the service.
This position provides clinical leadership and operational support for the small team of staff working in the Spinal Pain Service and the Pain Management Unit at University of Canberra Hospital.
Clinical supervision and professional development is provided through team structures, supervision support, competency-based assessments and professional development opportunities.
