Full time DEVELOP (ASX : DVP) is an emerging mine owner and mining services business with a mission to utilise the power of people to produce clean metals and help decarbonise the world.
The first of these centres on the exploration and production of future facing metals.
As part of this, the Company's energy has focused on its Woodlawn Copper Zinc mine and Sulphur Springs Zinc-Copper mine whilst reviewing the newly acquired Pioneer Dome Lithium project.
The second plank of DEVELOP's strategy centres on the provision of underground mining services.
As part of this, DEVELOP has an agreement with Bellevue Gold (ASX : BGL) to provide underground mining services at its Bellevue Gold Project in WA.
The Opportunity: Mine Mechanical Tradesperson DEVELOP are currently seeking an experienced Mine Mechanical Tradesperson to join our team as we prepare for ramp up and production restart in early 2025.
Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor - Processing, the primary function of this role is to ensure the planned performance and integrity of fixed plant assets are maintained at the lowest practical life cycle cost within the Fixed Plant Maintenance section of the Processing Department.
Your main responsibilities as a Mine Mechanical Tradesperson will include:
Work within the Fixed Plant Maintenance Team to ensure all activities (un-scheduled, follow-up work, preventative maintenance, planned work etc) are performed in a safe, timely, professional, and effective manner.Through the use of procedures, ensure that improvements to the procedures are captured and changes are made to controlled documents by custodian.Ensure any plant issues from your shift are communicated with your supervisor and/or leading hand prior to departure from site.Receive and discuss daily instructions from supervisor and/or leading hand.Maintain statutory records for all equipment in the fixed plant.Create work requests in Pronto based upon inspections with appropriate priorities assigned to ensure power supply services are maintained.Attend daily pre-start meetings to ensure effective communication and handover between crews with regard to maintenance plans and issues.Provide technical advice to fellow fixed plant maintenance team members.Execute work and ensure correct history recorded in Pronto by communicating with supervisor and/or leading hand.Detailed notes on the actual task completed and recorded on the work order.Accurate recording of man hours on the work order.Accurate recording on work order of parts used to complete the tasks.Carry out, develop and follow SOP'S / JHA'S / SLAM ensuring risks are identified and mitigated, and safety standards are met.Undertakes team-based risk assessments as required.Provide key involvement in addressing safety issues and undertaking safety investigations, ensuring root causes identified and corrective actions are effectively implemented.Order parts and equipment for all unplanned jobs as necessary, returning any unused parts back to their designated areas.The Requirements of the role: Minimum 3 years' experience in the mining industry in a similar role.Computer literacy - integrated management systems, word processing, presentations, spreadsheets etc.Ability to work unsupervised.Ability to work as a part of a team and foster team building.Ability to train and pass on knowledge in alignment with department training matrix.Demonstrate ability to maintain or exceed best industry practice.Flexibility to adapt to improved procedures and practices.Awareness of the Mines Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations.Current "C" Class Drivers Licence.What Develop can offer: 7:7 RosterFull Time positionDIDO and FIFO options for the right candidateAttractive Remuneration PackageEmployee Share SchemePaid Parental Leave and Salary Sacrificing benefits including Superannuation and Novated LeasingAn exciting opportunity to be an integral part of a project that will develop your operational skills10-year mine life with plenty of opportunity for organic growthIf you would like to be a part of Develop's mission, we would love to hear from you.
