PRIMARY DETAIL An exciting opportunity to step up into a Team Leader role and provide quality support for clinicians and patients visiting MQ Health Clinics on a permanent full-time basis Position available on a Permanent Full-time basis at MQ Health's Cardiology & Nephrology Clinic Immediate start in a healthcare organisation $72,415 p.a.
plus 11.5% superannuation and access to the full salary packaging ,benefit with Maxxia to maximise your take home pay The Role Due to an expansion of our clinical services, we are seeking an experienced candidate to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment as a Secretarial Team Leader.
The role will be responsible for the provision of high-quality operational and administrative support within the Cardiology & Nephrology clinic.
You will work as part of a team to ensure a high-quality patient experience and support clinicians in running an efficient and professional practice.
The role requires a firm commitment to excellent customer service and patient-centred care.
Key Accountabilities include: Manage daily business and administrative operations of the clinic to ensure they are efficient, patient-focused and consistent.
Providing customer service, making appointments and answering enquiries from patients and medical practitioners including managing patient flow during clinic sessions Prepare initial reports regarding the performance of the clinic on a regular basis and when required.
Supervise a small team of administrative staff including preparing and managing staff rostering, workload and leave.
Develop and deliver relevant training and documentation for new and existing staff.
Conduct audits and ensure department KPIs are met.
Ensure outstanding accounts are actioned and settled.
Manage and resolve any patient complaints and feedback, working with the Senior Manager as needed to ensure consistently optimal service.
Liaise with other clinics, hospitals and allied health professionals to acquire comprehensive patient information and provide exceptional patient coordination.
About You You will be a professional individual poised for progression in your career.
You will have previous reception and administration experience in the medical industry and will have experience with or an aptitude for, supporting and mentoring junior colleagues.
You will have well-developed experience using health-related software packages, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and providing patients with excellent customer service in every interaction.
You will possess exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

To Apply To be considered for this position, you will demonstrate in your resume and a one-page cover letter that you possess: Excellent organisational and time management skills when prioritising and managing workloads Previous experience working in a medical practice and knowledge of medical terminology Demonstrated experience using electronic practice management systems (such as Genie or Best Practice) Previous experience in supervising staff Understanding of and experience with Australian health insurance schemes and patient billing arrangements Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.
Excellent customer service, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills while maintain confidentiality, discretion and professionalism Demonstrated experience in developing partnerships, eliciting cooperation and working effectively with a range of stakeholders.
