Lycopodium Minerals is currently looking for an experienced Field Engineer to work for our long-term mineral processing projects in Africa on a 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster.With offices in Africa, Australia, Canada, and the Philippines, Lycopodium proudly delivers high-quality professional engineering and project delivery services globally, across the mining and metals; infrastructure and process industries.
By joining our global team and learning from renowned subject matter experts, we can offer you a rich and diverse career.Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Field Engineer will provide specialist advice to ensure the project is delivered professionally and safely in line with Company, Client, and industry requirements.The tasks you'll perform:Ensuring that all the site Field Engineering services are up to a high standard in line with Company, Client, regulatory, and contractual requirements.Manage the various work procedures, practices, and plans of the Field Engineering Services teams to ensure deliverables are met to a high level of accuracy.Provide specialist advice and act as the primary contact for all project technical support, liaise with the engineering team to resolve issues and ensure deliverables are met.The expertise you'll bring:University degree in Engineering or equivalent from a recognised tertiary institution is desired.Min 2 years' post-graduate experience in Mineral Processing projects on remote sites or in a similar industry.Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.Solid technical aptitude, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to effectively supervise a diverse team.Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment.Provide mentoring and identify avenues of professional development.Build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and co-workers.Must be willing and able to go to site.The benefits we'll provide:Lycopodium has a strong company culture focused on career progression and technical skill development.
