Within RBS, the Everyday Banking domain delivers the full spectrum of products for customers' transaction banking and deposit needs, enabling customers to manage their day to day spend and save to achieve their financial goals.
This portfolio is at the heart of the Retail Bank's franchise - an anchor product for customers who consider CBA to be their main financial institution.

The Everyday Products squad manages the core transaction account portfolio end-to-end, including P&L, supplier management, change delivery, proactive risk management, and optimising customer and business outcomes.
This role reports to the Crew Lead, Everyday Products.
As the Product Owner and value stream lead, you will manage the financial and non-financial performance of the portfolio and deliver exceptional customer outcomes that support our goal of achieving an NPS of +30.
Specifically, you will,
Lead a high performing team and value stream of product, analytics and technology specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration and high-quality output to drive meaningful change Collaborate with colleagues to define, communicate and mobilise the product vision, strategy and customer value proposition for retail transaction accounts Drive excellence in supplier management, fostering strong partnerships and ensuring seamless operational efficiency Manage performance against OKRs to drive product outcomes and customer satisfaction Establish mechanisms to identify opportunities to enhance streamline and uplift customer experiences to improve the product NPS Attract and develop talent through mentoring squad members and other product owners in your value stream Manage senior business and technical stakeholders to ensure prioritisation is understood and agreed upon Lead and ensure a positive risk culture exists across the team, ensuring key internal CBA policies are adhered to, including the Operational and Supplier Risk Management Framework Proactively identifying, managing, and closing issues, incidents, and risk mitigation initiatives Developing and challenging the end-to-end risk and control environment to ensure alignment with risk appetite, and Ensure projects are delivered with a focus on executional excellence and the Group Delivery Framework with a proactive approach to managing change-associated risks
We want to hear from you if you have:
Proven Product Owner (at Executive Level) or Executive Manager equivalent experience, leading teams to high performance Prior experience in product management is beneficial Demonstrated success in delivering business growth and strategically problem-solving Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to manage work streams and project activities independently Strong commercial acumen with experience in financial services and a proven ability to translate technology solutions into customer benefits Exceptional prioritisation skills Strong risk management skills, including identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks Excellent skills in stakeholder engagement, influencing, and relationship-building Expertise in managing supplier relationships and to ensure quality, compliance, and efficiency outcomes Proficient in delivering clear and concise written and verbal updates to senior executives and ability to work through business problems with senior stakeholders Experience working in an agile environment (advantageous)
