Personal Care Worker - Manly NSW FEBRUARY 2024 The successful candidates will have a strong background in Community Aged and / or Disability Care and will thrive on working in a close-knit team and have a passion for delivering the highest quality in client care.
Minimum Requirements Certificate III in Aged Care, Community Care or Disability Services (mandatory)At least one year's relevant experienceProfessionalism, a good reputation & respect for our staff, clients and their familiesWell presented, reliable and resilientGood judgment, quick decision-making and excellent communication skillsCurrent National Police ClearanceCurrent First Aid and CPR qualifications, or willing to obtainDriver's licence and your own carLocal knowledge and a strong network in the Lower North Shore area (highly desirable)Understanding of Government funding environment for aged care & NDIS and hospital discharge environment (desirable)Qualifications Certificate III in Aged Care, Community Care or Disability Services or at least 1yr F/T study for Nursing DegreeSatisfactory Australian National Police checkCurrent or willing to obtain a first aid and CPR certificateDriver's licence and your own registered carA successful candidate will have the following: Ability to provide personal and domestic careA passion for respectfully empowering and caring for peopleExcellent written and verbal skillsAble to work autonomously and as part of a teamHigh level of time management and organisational abilityWillingness to participate in further education opportunitiesOn offer will be excellent remuneration, a pleasant working environment and various other benefits.
