Ibis Melbourne Hotel & Apartments is looking for a Food & Beverage Supervisor to join this ever thriving and exciting environment
Ibis Melbourne Hotel & Apartments is a 250 room Hotel including Apartments with a lively Restaurant and three Conference spaces located near the vibrant Melbourne CBD and Queen Victoria Markets.
Job Description Creating exceptional guest experiences by providing great customer service and memorable moments.
Running the shift and supervising staff in efficiently serving food & beverage for restaurant and conference rooms.
Breakfast service including buffet, and maintaining presentation of the restaurant.
Assisting guests with questions and menu recommendations.
Working collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth running of the service period.
Overseeing rostering of Food & Beverage staff.
Liaising with the Head Chef and completing ordering.
Qualifications Previous experience in a similar role, with hotel experience an advantage.
Knowledge of beverages including barista coffee, cocktails and wines to maximize average spend.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail.
Interest in making genuine connections with guests and colleagues.
Availability to work varied shifts including early morning, late evenings, weekends and public holidays - minimum of three shifts per week.
Current Responsible Service of Alcohol and Food Handling, or willing to obtain.
Must have working rights in Australia.
