Apprentices who join Visy have an opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology, learning on the job with expert technicians, it is an opportunity for you to identify your impressive potential.
What we are looking for: Carry out preventative & planned maintenance as per established programs (primarily planned); Fault finding, working alongside our multi skilled operators.
Service, repair & maintain all equipment and machinery to mitigate down time, such as conveyors, utilities, compressors, palletisers and wrapping, bagging, and strapping machines.
General machining – Lathe work & Milling Welding - SMAW, TIG & MIG Support Health, Safety & Environment initiatives to ensure an accident-free workplace.
Maintain maintenance history and planning utilising SAP CMMS High Risk work such as working with Confined Space, EWP's, Working at Heights, Hot works etc What we expect of you: Active participation to learning, initiative and driving your own outcomes.
Follow all safety procedures and protocols.
Attendance, reliability, and punctuality.
Teamwork and Collaboration.
