Our culture is built on collaboration and innovation, we are passionate about what we do, and we are committed to our mission to be the leading customer-centric data centre services company.Where Cloud lives and AI thrives.Job DescriptionWe are currently looking for a passionate Data Centre Technician to join our highly skilled Sydney facilities team.The purpose of this role is to support the Facility Manager with the day-to-day operations of the data centre by providing high quality and efficient technical maintenance and customer service.Key Responsibilities include:Assist with customer equipment and installationsMaintain in-depth knowledge of the Facility Rules and ensure adherence at all timesDeliver cabling needs, electrical and data, to customer racks and areasAttend to Remote Hands RequestsAssist with the maintenance of all core electrical and mechanical systemsEnsure that facility problems are identified and resolved in a timely mannerQualificationsTo be successful in this role you will have:Hands-on experience with fibre optic cablingA Grade Electrical LicenseExcellent customer service, communication skills, and most importantly, a can-do attitudeBasic knowledge of data centres (desirable)TAFE Cert in TelecommunicationsCandidates MUST be Australian Citizens in order to obtain security clearances required.Additional InformationSeize this exciting opportunity to join one of Australia's fastest growing companies and play a key contributing role in the future of AI and the digital economy.Join an inclusive, diverse and values-driven working culture.Great opportunities to progress within our company (grow as we grow).Our mission is to continue building a diverse and inclusive workforce which represents the communities in which we operate.Make NEXTDC your next move.#J-18808-Ljbffr
