Cover Supervisor - Leeds - £80-100 per dayReeson Education is supporting a large mainstream secondary school in Leeds, West Yorkshire, who require an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join their team from ASAP.The Role:Cover Supervisors are required to manage groups of around 30 students independently and to appropriately deliver the work set to a high standard, answering any questions to the best of their ability that students may have surrounding the tasks set.You will be expected to:Provide cover for registrationDeliver lessons where the normal cover has been left, to a high standard with limited preparation time and on occasion at short noticeProvide students with a positive climate for learning, using the gold classroom standards and school's behaviour policies consistently and fairly where necessary to effectively manage the behaviour of studentsHelp students to build self-esteem through positive interactions, praise, and encouragementAssist with the development and implementation of SEN support plansPerson Specification:Hold a degree or be an aspiring teacherInterest in, and knowledge of, autismExperience of managing behaviours of distressProven ability to solve problems quickly and remain calmBasic level of IT literacy in using Microsoft software e.g., Outlook, Word, ExcelExcellent communication skills both written and verbal (in English)The Offer:A broad and wide-ranging staff development programmeOutstanding facilities and resources to support teaching and learningA friendly and diverse student and staff communityAccess to confidential emotional and practical advice support servicesReeson Education:Reeson Education is England's Premier Recruitment Agency.
