Country to Coast coordinates primary and preventative healthcare – that is, the healthcare that takes place outside of a hospital, such as General Practitioners, allied health, chronic disease management, aged care, mental health and Indigenous health.

Enable responsive and dynamic solutions that optimise population health and well-beingBuild healthy, resilient, connected communities – country to coastTHE POSITION The Education & Workforce Coordinator supports the development and delivery of Country to Coast QLD's (CCQ) education and workforce program activities, initiatives and other CCQ events.
The role is responsible for supporting the delivery of CCQs education and health workforce programs. Education and Workforce Coordinators will be responsible for developing and coordinating local relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to support the delivery of CCQs education and workforce programs.
This position reports directly to the Senior Manager Education, while accepting delegated responsibilities from both the Senior Manager Education and Senior Manager Workforce.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate end to end planning for education activities and events across a range of delivery formats including face-to-face clinical societies, workshops, conferences, and online learning, forums e.g. webinars.Develop key internal and external stakeholder relationships to support the delivery of CCQs education and workforce programs.Drive efficient event management practices and participant evaluation through the effective use of the Customer Relationship Management and Learning Management System applications.Act as a key liaison point between educators, speakers, key stakeholders and participants.Coordinate logistics for face-to-face events including booking venues, catering, equipment and managing workflow, event budgets and the registration, attendance and evaluation processes.Coordinate the delivery and development of high-quality online learning offerings through CCQ's Learning Management System.Confirm CPD activities meet the relevant accreditation standards.Coordinate with the primary health sector workforce regarding workforce activities.Promote awareness of other CCQ programs and activities.Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous quality improvement in event management processes and participant evaluation.Complete other reasonable duties as required.Please note that some quarterly regional travel, and work outside standard office hours, including nights and some weekend travel, are a requirement of this role.
ESSENTIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS Tertiary qualifications - degree, diploma or certificate qualification in education, workforce or event management.Advanced computer literacy – including Microsoft Office skills.Motivates self - proven ability to work autonomously across a variety of projects with a small tight-knit team.Coordinates Events- demonstrated experience in leading and delivering online and face-to-face event logistics including scheduling promotions, speaker engagement, venue hire, catering, participant surveys and participant recruiting.Relationship-building- proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, effectively use Customer Relationship Management applications.Learning Management Systems – effectively use Learning Management Systems.Communication skills - a confident communicator capable of speaking in front of small and large groups in a professional and engaging manner.Cultural awareness- experience engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations, peoples and communities and supporting culturally safe practices.WHS - knowledge of and commitment to Work Health and Safety, Equal Employment Opportunity, Cultural Safety, and Continuous Improvement principles.Satisfactory National Police Check & Current C class drivers' licence.Employee confirmation that they do not have a pre-existing injury or illness that would affect their ability to undertake the inherent requirements of this position.REWARDS AND REMUNERATION Being a part of a talented supportive team to shape the future of improved health outcomes for the community.HOW TO APPLY Previous applicants encouraged to apply.
