Drivetrain Australia is an iconic brand with over 30 years of experience as an Australian leader in heavy off-highway powertrain engineering within dynamic markets such as Mining, Defence & Transport.
Drivetrain represents market-leading products including Dana Spicer Drivetrain Systems, Kessler & AxleTech.

We currently have opportunities in our Mackay (Paget) facility for a driven and experienced Service Technician to join on a full-time basis.
The role requires excellence in service support for Drivetrain's customer base, while being responsive to customer needs and completing service responsibilities with requisite care, skill, diligence, and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities: Overhaul, maintain, repair, test, calibrate, and commission mechanical equipment and systems to conform to specifications, regulations, and safety requirements.
Assist in carrying out work in a punctual, efficient, and timely manner.
Assist both mechanical and electrical tradespersons as required to achieve company objectives as defined by the Area Manager.
Proactively maintain an efficient and safe workshop/workstation/site layout and associated work processes.
Work independently and effectively.
Have experience as a Diesel Mechanic/Fitter in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, mining equipment, and power generation on engines and drivelines.
Be trade qualified.
Possess an engaging work approach and customer service focus.
Have solid diagnostic capabilities.
Exhibit a mature attitude and a logical, methodical approach to work.
Demonstrate a great work ethic and be a team player.
Hold a High Risk Work License – Dogging and Forklift.
Have working knowledge of parts and service systems (SAP).
Have reliable transport.
