We're a values-driven business that strives for high performance and growth as we look towards the future.The RoleReporting into the Senior Assistant Company Secretary, the Board Administrator role is a critical role within the Company Secretariat team.You will be responsible for supporting the Company Secretary and Senior Assistant Company Secretary to deliver professional and efficient board and board committee meetings, provide exceptional Director administrative support and proactively work as a key member of a well-respected Company Secretariat team to continually strengthen our governance practices.Your role is broad and varied as you provide end-to-end support such as managing the logistics and administration of Board, Board Committee, and management meetings, managing the Governance inbox and calendar of events, providing technology and office support for other Independent or Non-Executive Directors.About youWe are seeking a self-motivated, adaptable, and detail-orientated administrator with previous experience supporting Boards and/or Committees.You will understand the fundamentals and importance of corporate governance, including the role of the Board, or a willingness to learn.Your balanced set of skills includes exceptional organisational and time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to plan, multitask and manage competing priorities.As a natural communicator, you have excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, including executive, C-suite and Board, both internally and externally.Most importantly, you are a "roll up your sleeves" professional looking for an opportunity that will offer genuine breadth, depth and progression.Qualifications & Experience:Strong attention to detail, proactive, and able to work independently.Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities.Basic understanding of corporate governance or willingness to learn.Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.Highly organized and methodical.Effective communication and engagement with all stakeholders, including executives and board members.Skilled in written and verbal communication.Focused and motivated for routine tasks.Customer-focused with a commitment to excellence.Desirable experience:Experience working with boards or company secretariats (whether as a board assistant or board administrator) or as a legal secretary.Experience with or exposure to an electronic board portal.Financial services industry experience.Current member of Governance Institute of Australia (or similar) or willingness to become a member.Bringing our best to life - why join us?We do work that makes a genuine difference to our customers, partners and community.We have a supportive, inclusive and flexible team culture, including hybrid working.We support your growth and development, and careers across our business units and teams that are as unique as our people.We reward and celebrate our successes, through our incentive and recognition programs.We offer tools, resources and benefits to support your wellbeing, including additional lifestyle leave and our Family Life hub.We connect and celebrate our diversity at work through our social committees and employee groups, and we contribute to our community with paid volunteer leave and through our sustainability commitments.Should an applicant be the preferred candidate, background checks (including Federal Police Checks, Employment checks, ASIC banned and disqualified persons and Bankruptcy checks) will be completed prior to the candidate's employment being confirmed.
