Help your clients regain their independence and achieve their goals in life and workWe build better lives through work and health.About the roleAs a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a vital role in the provision of workplace rehabilitation services to help build better lives through work and health.
As part of the team, you'll support people to get well and working.Why work with WFA?Career and Professional Development linked to your professionA training academy to keep your skills sharp and reach all CPD requirementsOpportunities to work in over 80 locations in AustraliaOngoing flexible working arrangements – you'll be equipped to manage your own timeProfessional Development study optionsPaid Parental leaveAssistance with CPD requirementsFinancial Incentive programs to reward you for your hard workAs a valued team member, your responsibilities will include:Undertaking worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment and home assessmentsIdentifying Return to Work (RTW) barriersLiaising with clients, insurers, medical practitioners and employers to achieve outcomes appropriate for all partiesDesigning, implementing and monitoring exercise programs that assist injured employees to return to the workforceTeach, coach, and motivate clients to facilitate self-management of exercise and healthy lifestyle, using models of behaviour change, scientific evidence and clinical reasoning, and accounting for sociocultural and individual factorsDesign, implement and evaluate safe and effective exercise interventions, based on referral information, presenting pathologies and co-morbidities, clinical reasoning, pre-intervention assessments and the analysis, interpretation, and application of scientific evidence.Conduct initial assessments and identify RTW barriers and design/implement/monitor programs that assist injured employees return to the workforce as required.Complete accurate case notes which reflect actions undertaken and any recommendations to achieve the Return to Work and Health goal.What you'll bring to the roleDetermination to consistently provide a high level of customer serviceA keen sense of punctuality and the effective ability to manage your timeDemonstrate strong written and verbal communication skillsProven organisation and time management skills.Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Hold and maintain a current Australian Driver's Licence and own and maintain a roadworthy, comprehensively insured motor vehicle.To Apply:Click on the APPLY button or please contact Sandy Chen to have a confidential discussion about the role on .QualificationsQualifications & registration in any of the following:Exercise PhysiologyFull and current registration in / with ESSA is essentialAdditional InformationYou are welcome here.Our fast-growing team of more than 3,500 people around Australia represent a huge array of life experiences, skills and ways of thinking.
