Safety and Compliance Coordinator (HV Electrician)The ENcome group is an independent service provider for the operation of photovoltaic power plants with a clear focus on Operation and Maintenance (O&M), Technical Asset Management (TAM), as well as Engineering & Advisory services. Since its introduction to the Australian market in 2017, ENcome has expanded its operational base to include 600MWp of O&M capacity with sites in Queensland and New South Wales. With a professional team of highly qualified employees, supported by a 24/7 Control Room, ENcome ensures the maximum yield for each PV power plant.Purpose of the Position:To take responsibility for technical, compliance and safety documentation for all ENcome projects. Additionally, to provide specialist, technical and support services.General Duties and Responsibilities:WHS Management System:Review procedures and work in accordance with safety procedures including supporting compliance with relevant WHS legislation.Manage the approval of the implemented electrical safety procedures across Australia.Provide guidance and support to operations team on operations and electrical maintenance.Work with operations and wider ENAU team to ensure the safe operation of a variety of apparatus and test equipment.Liaise with Contractors, Clients, other professionals, visitors, and members of the public.Corrective issues reviewed and communicated and coordinated in a timely manner.Compliance Management:Assist with delivering the Scope of Work according to the contract.Ensure staff and entity compliance to training, both qualification and competency.Documentation:Documentation, folder configuration and data storage, in consistent and intuitive manner.Interface function / Direct reporting lines:Work with the Technical Services Manager and wider Asset Management team.Develop and maintain good team dynamics.Participate with the implementation of Performance Management measures where necessary using tools provided by ENcome Australia Management for direct reporting lines.Workplace Health & Safety:Ensure project using ENcome WHS processes.Utilise your experience and knowledge to offer technical guidance advice, support operations with audits and compliance, commissioning, and maintenance of HV apparatus and electrical systems.Training:Keep an updated level of knowledge in their area of expertise by participating in regular refresher training.Personal Characteristics:Demonstrate strong organisation skills with excellent problem solving and effective communication skills.Be strategic in managing maintenance strategies.Be reliable, organised and team focused with a tenacious, can-do approach.Desire to achieve ownership of customer relations, site conditions and performance and exceed expectations.Professional communication skills both verbal and written.Accuracy and strong attention to detail.Willingness to travel and maintain strong site presence.Well-developed organisation skills.Qualifications:Tertiary qualification or trade qualification with equivalent experience.High Voltage Switching Competency.CPR & Low Voltage Rescue.Valid driver's license.Valid electrical license.Experience:Minimum 5+ years' HV electrical experience in large scale C&I, utility sector (renewable energy preferred – Substation/Solar/Storage experience is preferred).Experience working with network authorities across states and territories.SCADA experience.Experience developing procedural and other complex and detailed documentation.Skills:Experience developing procedural and other complex and detailed documentation.Ability to work from complex verbal and written instructions depending on changing situations.Ability to read and understand complex utility contract instructions, electrical diagrams, and technical drawings.Ability to respond to and diagnose plant issues/faults.Strong computer skills including Microsoft office and cloud-based computing programs.Use SCADA to review alarms and performance of plant.Ability to work with site technicians, contractors, and trades assistants (TA).Ability to use IT equipment (software and hardware) to connect to solar farm components.Ability to use software tools and methodologies to analyse plant performance to support root cause analysis.Why work for ENcome?• Flexible working conditions.• Be part of a dynamic, international team.• Central Brisbane CBD location with modern office and equipment.• Employee Assistance Program to support employee wellbeing.
