Position OverviewARA Electrical is seeking an experienced Industrial Hazardous Area Electrician to perform service and installation work in the Port Botany Area 2036.
This role is ideally suited to someone from a heavy industry background with experience troubleshooting automated equipment.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities:Field service and breakdown support for a range of customers over varying industriesPreventative and corrective maintenanceInstall & maintain electrical cabling & equipmentFault find electrical faults on electric motors, variable speed drives & electrical control equipmentExperience and Skills:Be a Trade Certified and Licenced Electrician.Cert III Instrumentation (not essential)Cert IV in Hazardous areasNSW Drivers LicenceMaintenance experience in a process plantExcellent knowledge of current Australian StandardsSound understanding of SCADA and PLC systems and associated ancillary software.Proven ability to troubleshoot and fault find in various circuits i.e.
